Jim — just found this site, and am thrilled by it. I know so many people must tell you how enthralled they were by your wrestling persona, it must get tiresome, but pelase add me to that list. I grew up in New York in the 1960s and 1970s, andhave such incredible memories of the wrestling at Madison Square Garden, and sharing that with my late father.
He told me of the “old days” of wrestling, of Jim Londson, and Carpentier, and Buddy Rogers and Gorgeous George. He made me understand that what he and I were watching was the next generation of wrestling superstars, all of whom, heel or babyface, would stay in our hearts and memories forever. Amazingly, some 40 years later, I can say that he was right, in every aspect.
I know you face some challenges; in some way, we all do. I always knew that, under that unique wrestling facade, there beat the heart of a wise, intelligent, careful, creative man working his rear end off to entertain us all. I am so pleased to be able to say that to you, but I know you hear it a lot! And well deserved.
I and my friends are fans of the Washington Nationals, whose spring training home is in Viera, very close to you (I think). I do not know if it would ever be possible to meet you, but if I could, it would be a honor and pleasure for me.
Take care and God bless!!
Great to talk with you yesterday, thanks for your time; happy that all is well with you! I enjoyed taking a tour of your site; very diversified! Looking forward to seeing you in Wildwood in August! HF
I t was great talking to you and I am looking forward to the WWE Hall of fame. In Thisss corner we have the Fink.
Please prayer for Paul Orndorff. Paul is fighting cancer for his life.
Paul Orndorff is another old favotie of mine. He broke my heart going from heel to good guy, back to heel again. I will pray for him and pray for a recovery!
My thoughts are with Pual and his family. I remember watching him back in the day when he (Paul) worked Bill Watts in the Mid-South area. Just about 6 months ago Paul made an apperence at a wrestling show in LaSalle Il, and I had the chance to talk with him for a bit. It was really an honor to have the time with him during that show.
Paul is a true PRO.
Great new site, the contest really helped figuring out how to navigate, ‘great idea’ you must have taught at Madison
have a Blessed Day Jim
I hope you enjoyed your tour of THE ANIMAL HOUSE David.
Call me unenlightened but I liked the old site message board better.
Change is tough but the tough will get over it.
I saw the pictures of your wife Pat, she was my 6th grade teacher at Roosevelt, she looks great…..please give her my best and tell her I said hi (Dan Tucker).
REALLY, REALLY LOVE your new web-page
Gary every page has a comment place. We can talk on every subject. I believe you will at home here in the new ANIMAL HOUSE. GOD BLESS
Jim I loved meeting you and getting my picture taken with you few years back when you was at Gibraltar Trade Center in Mount Clemens. Glad to see your still well ^^
Welcome to THE ANIMAL HOUSE Walletto. Come back often and be part of the on going conversations. ENJOY!
Rest In Peace Randy and my prayers go out to the Poffo family.
No problem! I LOVE the classic black and whites like Dracula, Frankenstein and The Invisible Man. I love the stories, the acting and the overall atmosphere they have, unlike the blood, guts and gore in the movies from the late 70′s to today. I could go on, but I’ll keep it short.
Dan playing the role of Tor Johnson opened this whole black and white movie art for me. Watching Tim Burton work his magic was great.
I love the new site! I can wait to see what all you do with it. Maybe an on-line Bible Study???
Dan tell about your love of spooky movies .
